1. About this app

AI Font Effects ("the App") is a Canva app that generates AI-produced text effect images based on the word or phrase and style you select. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the App inside Canva.

2. Using the App

By using AI Font Effects, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with Canva's own Terms of Use and Content License Agreement, which continue to apply alongside these Terms.

• Do not submit text that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, or otherwise violates Canva's content policies.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the App's generation service.
• You are responsible for the text prompts you submit and for how you use the generated output.

3. Generated content

Effects are generated automatically based on your input and the style you choose. Because generation is AI-driven, results can vary and are not guaranteed to be identical between runs, even with the same input.

You are responsible for reviewing generated output before using it in your designs, including checking that it is appropriate for your intended use and does not unintentionally resemble a third party's protected trademark, logo, or copyrighted work.

4. Intellectual property

The App itself — including its interface, style library, and underlying technology — is owned by its developer. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and Canva's policies, you may use images generated through the App in your own Canva designs.

5. Availability and changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue styles or features of the App at any time to improve quality, reliability, or compliance with platform requirements. We may also update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

6. Disclaimer and liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
